The Seiko 5 Sports Automatic GMT SSK025K1 is a highly popular and functional men's timepiece, affectionately nicknamed the "Deception" for its black-on-black aesthetic that conceals its features while offering GMT functionality in the compact Field Watch case. This model, part of the new GMT Field series, is designed for the modern traveler. The watch is powered by Seiko's new in-house Automatic GMT movement (Caliber 4R34 with 24 Jewels), which features manual winding, hacking, and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The timepiece measures a wearable 39.4mm in case diameter and is housed within a black hard-coated stainless steel case. The dial is a practical black dial with bright, legible markings and a conspicuous orange GMT hand for tracking a second time zone against the inner 24-hour ring. Practical features include a Day/Date display window and a robust water resistance rating of 100 meters (10 Bar). It is protected by a Curved Hardlex crystal and is completed by a black genuine leather strap (often calfskin) with a matching buckle.
