The Seiko 5 Sports SRE024K1 (popularly known within the watch community by its series nicknames, the "SNXS Series", "Compact SNXS", or "Hebitama") is an elegant, compact Swiss-inspired automatic dress-sports watch designed specifically for women. Reimagining Seiko's classic 1970s SNXS design architecture into a modern 32mm mid-size silhouette, this timepiece combines two-tone luxury with daily sports capability. It serves as a versatile everyday luxury watch that transitions effortlessly from formal business attire to casual weekend wear.  The defining visual highlight of this SRE024 reference is its sunray silver dial, framed by a polished yellow gold PVD-plated bezel. Applied yellow gold-tone hour markers and matching luminescent hands treated with Seiko's proprietary LumiBrite provide optimal low-light legibility. A dual day and date window sits prominently at the 3 o'clock position, framed in gold tone to complement the dial's refined luxury styling.  Beneath its refined exterior, the watch is driven by the in-house Seiko Caliber 2R06 automatic mechanical movement. Operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) with 21 jewels, this self-winding engine offers manual hand-winding capability, second-hand hacking for precise time setting, and a dependable power reserve of up to 40 hours.  The 32mm watch case is meticulously crafted from 316L stainless steel featuring a two-tone finish with warm yellow gold PVD accents along the bezel and central bracelet links. Protecting the dial face is a curved Hardlex crystal designed for high impact resistance. Built with classic Seiko 5 sports durability, the case incorporates a recessed crown at the 4 o'clock position and a screw-down exhibition caseback achieving a certified 100-meter (10 bar / 330 ft) water resistance rating, making it fully suitable for daily swimming and aquatic activities.
