The Seiko SRRA005 is a striking 2024 addition to the Seiko 5 Sports SKX series, representing the first time the iconic diver-inspired DNA has been scaled down to a compact 28mm Stainless Steel Case. Famously nicknamed the "Mini SKX Green" or "Emerald SKX," this model is a Japan-exclusive (JDM) release that brings a high-energy, sporty aesthetic to a smaller wrist profile without compromising on its tool-watch heritage. The standout feature of the SRRA005 is its vibrant Sunray Green Dial, which is paired with a matching green unidirectional rotating bezel. The dial layout is purposefully designed for high legibility, featuring oversized circular indices and broad hands filled with LumiBrite for a powerful glow in the dark. As a true JDM model, it includes a bilingual Kanji/English day-date display at the 3 o'clock position. The watch is powered by the in-house Seiko Caliber 2R06 Automatic Movement, a 21-jewel mechanical engine that provides a 40-hour power reserve and supports both manual winding and hacking seconds.
